CSV Brescia was established to strengthen the culture of solidarity, the common good and the participation of responding to community needs through the development of volunteering in all its forms and active citizenship. The Association promotes, supports and qualifies volunteers in Third Sector organisations - in particular in Volunteer Organisations - with services, projects and actions that contribute to social change in the general interest of citizens and communities in the territory of Brescia and province. In particular, it supports volunteers in undertaking and publicising their initiatives, in acquiring organisational and management skills, in involving new actors and finding resources to positively affect the social phenomena of the context of reference. The action of CSV Brescia is inspired by the Charter of Values of Volunteering and the Charter of Representation. As at 31/12/2022 the social base of CSV Brescia consists of 169 members, of which: 120 voluntary organisations 43 other ETS Of which 6 non-profit organisations 774 Associations represented The services provided concern: Training Promotion, orientation and territorial animation Information and communication Research and documentation Advice, qualified assistance and accompaniment Technical and logistical support to facilitate or promote the operation of volunteers. Since 2020 CSV Brescia has been enrolled in the Register of Universal Civil Service Organisations - Lombardy Regionsection.
