VsI "Asmenybes ugdymo kulturos centras" is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to contribute to the creation of a safe, cultural, creative, active, physically and emotionally healthy community where it would be good for everyone to live. The idea of performing voluntary activities or voluntary work is in line with the organization's values and contributes to the organization's mission. The involvement of young people in voluntary activities enables them to develop citizenship and increase social activity. By participating in voluntary activities, they acquire and/or improve personal, social and other competences.
Public institution started to involve volunteers in its activities since 2016, organizing children and youth camps, and in 2020, by establishing a closed skate park, where there are regular activities for children and youth through non-formal education activities, the organization can provide volunteers with unique opportunities to acquire new skills and activities, and to find friends and establish social connections in this center. We are ready to participate in volunteering projects of the European Solidarity Corps. All persons working in the organization speak English perfectly, are discreet, communicative, and have excellent communication skills, so integrating into our team would not be a problem for foreign youth.
