CUBE AMKE is a private non-governemental organization establish in Thessaloniki in 2020, supporting entrepreneurship, and social development and cohesion. Our scopes are of several areas such as research,entrepreneurship, education, boosting of the local economy, and cooperation and promotion with other relevantorganizations. Specifically, it aims at:
• Promoting entrepreneurship of social inclusion groups, such as women, youth, Roma, refugees, etc.
• Inclusion of people with different cultural backgrounds, such as migrants, Roma, refugees, etc.
• Supporting and promoting gender equality
• Raising awareness and protection of the inclusion and vulnerable groups
• Supporting emerging artists/creatives within the local, European and international environment
• Build the capacity of the local creative ecosystem
• Artivism (using art and creativity as form of activism)
Our target groups include Women and Young People from Vulnerable Social Groups, which we approach with respect and a spirit of meaningful synergy. Particular emphasis is placed on sectors such as Creative Industries,with focus to underrepresented groups. After all, Cube was founded by people who really care and have been working as volunteers for many years in specific fields. Moreover, we organize speeches, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences with educational and social character covering entrepreneurial, environmental, and social inclusion topics, as well as awareness raising campaigns for Roma inclusion.
