A szervezet leírása

Our school in Tervuren, Belgium, embraces Steiner pedagogy to foster holistic development. We are a small growing school with 160 pupils divided into 10 classes with children between 2.5 and 12 years old. The school is surrounded by park of Tervuren and forest areas what making nature experience a daily occurrence in our school operation. Due to our location in the Brussels periphery and international headquarters, the pupil population at our school is also very international with children of various nationalities. This creates diversity and makes working at our school distinct and challenging.

In addition, our teachers are also linked to an international context through their origins or experiences. For example, Raquel (mentor) has Spanish and Julia (tutor) has German/British roots which can contribute to good communication with our volunteer.
We prioritize academic excellence, artistic expression, and practical skills, nurturing creativity and critical thinking. Our curriculum integrates language arts, mathematics, music, and handcrafts, fostering a love for learning. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Our goal is to prepare compassionate and engaged citizens for society.
