SIFD is an organization created in 2015 in Lezha-Albania.The Vision is: “Active Community to live with Dignity. SIFD, an exemplary organization in providing services in the Region of Lezha”.Our values are: Volunteering, Integrity, Courage, Independence, Reliability and Cooperation.Its mission is to contribute to the social economic and cultural empowerment of citizens and marginalized groups in the Lezha region by providing integrated psycho-social and legal services, awareness-raising, and advocacy with public and nonpublic institutions. We work to enhance the role of youth and adults, including people with disabilities,Roma and Egyptian, people with fewer opportunities, for an active participation in community life and decision-making. The organization is part of the CEESLN and CLAYSS Service Learning project.Currently,SIFD is implementing “Sail on Drin River” project, which aims to promote the engagement of children, youth up to 29, man and woman up to 60 through the involvement in the sport of kayaking. With this project we aim to make the community aware of a healthy lifestyle and a clean environment as well.. Furthermore, SIFD is about to start a new project focusing on promoting debate among youth, EU values and local governments role. The 2 LT and ST volunteers will engage in in the implementation of these activities which are in line with the strategic field that SIFD is applying for QL.We have implemented several projects in social, cultural, economic fields.
