SaUvedom is a civic association based in Trnava, Slovakia, founded in 2019 by 2 friends - Simona and Janka. Our mission is to promote sustainability and circular economy principles, in order to engage communities to navigate the potential ramifications of climate change.
The central focus revolves around the enlightenment and empowerment of the youth, primarily through the creation of innovative and attractive resources, modules, and workshops for schools and the community. Our organization is involved in several educational programs, focusing on supporting creativity and entrepreneurship in young people with different backgrounds including marginalized youth. Our work is well recognized within the CE community in Slovakia, we cooperate with the municipality of Trnava and schools in the region, and our youth projects are supported by the Ministry of Education.

Our main activities are
- Workshops and events on waste reduction, sustainable consumption, and environmental conservation for various age groups.
- Managing first 2 reuse centers in Slovakia - Baterkaren and Back2Life
- Collaborating with local schools, businesses, and organizations to implement sustainability and environmental education projects and practices.

By obtaining the Quality Label, SaUvedom seeks to strengthen its role in promoting sustainability. The certification will validate our commitment to high standards in volunteer management and project execution, boosting trust among partners and stakeholders.
