A szervezet leírása

Center for Youth Progress (CYP) is a local NGO that seeks to inspire individual and collective transformation to create positive social change. We create opportunities for individuals and youth groups to contribute time, energy, skills, materials, and financial resources in response to critical youth and community needs. Through its programs, CYP aims to bridge parallel involvement and communication with the local community by spreading awareness on social issues and enhancing the impact and reach of the work that young people are involved in. It seeks to create a new generation of young leaders in the community that are empowered to be agents for positive change. Its main activities are the facilitation of educational trainings for young people to promote an inclusive society; support and strengthening of democratic institutions and civil society through direct participation and representation by young people in decision making. The main activities are build around youth; The social contract as a lobbying process on youth priorities, Sport for Development as a tool for massive and all gender involvement, environment education, support Outdoor Ambassadors in targeted high schools, weekly CB youth meetings at the center on various topics, local, national and international partnerships and coordinated actions; from elections, democracy, to youth activism. We can host volunteers year around. However, there could be better opportunities from spring till late autumn.
