A szervezet leírása

Youth4Society (Y4S) is a non-profit organization established in 2008 by a committed group of young people in Tirana, Albania. The formation of Y4S was driven by a collective vision to enhance youth participation in civil society and to bring positive social transformation within the community. Our mission is to empower young individuals, equipping them to become active, engaged citizens who contribute significantly to societal development. Over the years, Y4S has positively impacted the lives of thousands of young people through its diverse programs and initiatives. Y4S has a rich history of organizing activities focused on inclusion, human rights education, employment, and intercultural learning and dialogue at local, national, regional and European levels. Our extensive experience working with disadvantaged youths, including those from rural areas, minority groups, and those facing social challenges, is a cornerstone of our work. We utilize a non-formal education approach to raise awareness about the inclusion of marginalized groups in society, aiming to integrate them into the community and foster a sense of belonging. To achieve its mission, Y4S implements a variety of activities, including workshops and training sessions on human rights, employment skills, and intercultural dialogue. We facilitate youth exchanges and seminars, organize volunteer programs to foster community engagement, and run campaigns to raise awareness on inclusion and social justice.
