Located in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey, Kafkas University (KAU) is a state university providing tertiary education established on July 11, 1992.
With its 872 academic staff who work and study on scientific basis and as of 2022, almost 20 thousand students, KAU is rapidly becoming a prominent university with its physical and social provisions. Considering the importance of globalization among the rising values of today, KAU constantly develops international cooperation with universities, educational organizations abroad and follows the developments in the world. Besides ensuring mutual exchange of staff and students, KAU is a university with the "Diploma Supplement" and "ECTS" label and ECHE holder Higher Education Institution since 2008. Recently received the “Erasmus Charter For Higher Education 2021-2027” quality certificate delivered by the European Commission.
KAU carries out its scientific activities in 5 different campuses with 11 faculties, 3 vocational colleges, 9 colleges, 1 state conservatory, 4 institutes and 16 research and application centers University has an Erasmus agreement under KA131 and 171 Programmes with 80 universities. It
also has agreements with universities in Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, USA, Germany, Brazil, England, Japan, China, Yemen, Pakistan, Lebanon, Northern Cyprus, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
