Albert Thomas Middle School is a rural public secondary school located in Égletons, central France, New Aquitaine region, Corrèze department. It welcomes around 300 students aged 11–15, including pupils with disabilities (ULIS program) and many from modest socio-economic backgrounds. The school holds the Erasmus+ accreditation and has applied for the Jean Monnet accreditation "Teaching the EU", reflecting its strong European commitment.

Our mission is to foster inclusive, intercultural, and democratic education. We carry out projects on environmental sustainability, social justice, gender equality, and civic engagement. Volunteers play a supportive role in these actions: they assist in language and cultural workshops, contribute to environmental and citizenship initiatives, and help promote international openness through creative and educational activities. They may also support school events, clubs, or workshops involving local partners such as the town library or youth services. Volunteers are never substitutes, but rather added value to our inclusive and cooperative school culture.

We are applying for the Quality Label to host motivated young people who wish to discover a rural territory, support youth development, and experience intercultural learning in a caring, dynamic, and committed educational environment.
