The Local Unit of GRENOBLE VERCORS GRÉSIVAUDAN is a structure of the French Red Cross (FRC), an officially recognized non-profit association, which offers volunteers the possibility to carry out a large number of activities in the fields of health, autonomy, youth, emergency, social actions and international solidarity. The participation of these volunteers is essential for the implementation of the diversity of projects carried out by the association.

The French Red Cross is a single legal entity but it is organized in the territory into local branches, local units, territorial delegations, and manages various medico-social institutions. The headquarters are based near Paris, in Montrouge, where a national team is dedicated to the volunteering strategy of the French Red Cross. The headquarters benefit from the LEAD quality label accreditation to ensure the right coordination of the projects in the whole territory, handling administrative and financial topics. The national team works very closely with the local structures of the FRC who host european volunteers across the regions.

With more than 300 volunteers and 3 employees, the local unit of GRENOBLE VERCORS GRÉSIVAUDAN is a very dynamic structure of the French Red Cross, located in the south-east of France.
