A szervezet leírása

“ATHENA” is a young but ambitious non-governmental organization, which was founded by people experienced in the field of youth work in 2024, in Kyiv, Ukraine. Our primary aim revolves around championing solidarity, fostering non-formal education, advocating for human rights and gender equality, instilling active citizenship, promoting a vibrant lifestyle, embracing the European citizenship concept, advocating for peace and amicable neighborhoods, endorsing ecological sustainability and development, encouraging healthy living practices, supporting sports, nurturing artistic and cultural endeavors, enhancing digital competencies, as well as engaging with the EU and Erasmus+ programs. We believe that participation in international projects enables young individuals to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial skills, broaden their social perspectives, and immerse themselves in the diverse cultural milieu of the EU. Such experiences foster intercultural understanding, catalyze new collaborative initiatives, and nurture a more inclusive society. We primarily focus on young people aged 18 to 30, but we also particularly support women, refugees and people with fewer opportunities. Our efforts extend to youths from various cultural backgrounds, especially those with fewer opportunities or facing disadvantageous circumstances, ensuring they receive support tailored to their unique needs.
