YMCA Dublin is a community-based charity organisation providing vital services and dedicated support to individuals and families since 1849. We are located in the heart of communities and connect with and support the local community through targeted programs and community engagement opportunities.

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to belong to healthy, confident, secure and connected communities. We operate as a social enterprise at our city centre hub by providing access to affordable, community-based childcare at scale, and catering to the breadth of families across our community, from full fee-paying parents to fully sponsored children. Our unique approach couples high-quality, accessible childcare with sustainable community spaces and youth work services for young people, which we achieve through investment of internal surpluses and partnering with other agencies and state funders.

Our approach works through supporting mind, body and spirit. We work in and with communities to support and empower individuals, children and young people to develop the skills, experiences, relationships and behaviours for healthy, confident and successful futures. In all we do, we employ evidence based methodologies, supported by transparent accountability and management structures.
