VERDE is a research centre dedicated to environmental protection, climate change mitigation, and sustainability based in the West. Macedonia, Greece. As a research center focused on environmental protection, climate change mitigation, and sustainability, VERDE promotes green practices and environmentally responsible behavior across all its projects and initiatives. By integrating sustainability principles into research, innovation, and community engagement, VERDE actively supports the goals of the European Solidarity Corps. Through our work, we contribute to protecting, conserving, and enhancing natural resources and fostering sustainable lifestyles within the communities we serve. Our efforts emphasize educating and empowering individuals to make environmentally conscious choices in their consumption habits and lifestyles, driving long-term behavioral change. Moreover, VERDE's daily work addresses the social challenges of environmental protection and climate goals.

Our main activities include conducting seminars, workshops, and training sessions on topics such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green practices, encouraging sustainable development at every level. Our target groups include students, educators, youth leaders, and young entrepreneurs, with a strong focus on building a generation of environmentally conscious leaders who are equipped to address the challenges of climate change and sustainability.
