A szervezet leírása

The 'Verband engagierte Zivilgesellschaft in NRW e.V.' (VEZ NRW) is an umbrella organization for clubs and initiatives in North Rhine-Westphalia that are actively engaged in the fields of culture, education, and social issues. VEZ NRW advocates for the promotion of a diverse, democratic, and solidarity-based civil society by supporting and networking non-profit clubs and initiatives. In collaboration with its member organizations, VEZ NRW develops civil society projects that offer innovative solutions to social, cultural, and humanitarian challenges. A particular focus of the work is on educational offerings and measures to promote civic engagement, in order to strengthen participation and community in our society. The association was founded in June 2014 by eight non-profit founding members who wish to strengthen and further develop each other through collaboration and networking. Today, VEZ NRW represents over 70 member organizations and is active throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. Together, the member organizations shape civil society through projects and events, create synergies, and thus contribute to a solidarity-based, diverse North Rhine-Westphalia.
