A szervezet leírása

Stiftelsen Stjärnsund is a foundation that works as a non-profit organization in rural Sweden inspired by the Findhorn Foundation, rooted in Inner Listening, Co-creation with Nature, and Love in Action. We offer a unique community-based environment where young people reconnect with themselves, elders, others, and the natural world. While we serve as as a course center for economic sustainability, our main activities focus on sustainability, ecological living, and community building. Through permaculture, forest gardening, and restoring historic buildings with natural materials like clay and timber, we teach green skills and environmental awareness. These hands-on experiences also foster active citizenship and social responsibility. We host regular events that encourage peer learning, intergenerational exchange, and cross-cultural collaboration. Volunteers from across the world engage with locals and elders, promoting social inclusion and the exchange of lived experience and practical knowledge. Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices support youth mental health and self-care. We especially welcome young people at transitional life stages who may not have had access to nature, sustainability education, or cooperative community life. Our inclusive, peaceful setting offers a space to gain life skills, explore shared values, and grow into resilient, empowered individuals.
