Opis organizacije

The Associação Poesia p’ra Todos (APPT) was officially founded in February 2023, following a year of organizing monthly community-based poetry gatherings. Its main mission is to create inclusive and safe spaces where people can freely express themselves through art like poetry, music, prose, or performance. “Poesia p’ra Todos” means Poetry for All, which reflects the organization’s core value: to make artistic expression accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, gender, or experience. All voices are welcome, and every form of artistic expression is celebrated in our open stages. Since its creation, APPT has organized more than 50 local events in Lisbon and other regions of Portugal, including a regular monthly collaboration with Associação Com Calma e Cultura since 2022. The association’s core team includes 13 active volunteers, working across different areas such as Event Management, Project Development and Partnerships, Visual Identity, and Social Media Communication. Together, they ensure that APPT’s activities remain community-oriented, creative, and inclusive.
