The OSMTJ Foundation is a non-profit organization in Cyprus dedicated to supporting rural areas, promoting sustainability, and strengthening local communities. We see volunteering as a modern knighthood, empowering youth to protect cultural heritage, tackle environmental challenges, and drive social change. Our mission & objectives We focus on engaging rural communities, preserving the rich cultural traditions of Cyprus, and promoting a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. Through non-formal education and hands-on volunteering, we aim to help young people develop skills, confidence, and a sense of responsibility while tackling real social challenges. Our values: - Solidarity & inclusion – ensuring equal opportunities for all, especially for youth in remote and disadvantaged areas and youth with fewer opportunities. - Cultural heritage & identity – preserving and celebrating local traditions, fostering intercultural dialogue. - Sustainability & responsibility – encouraging eco-friendly practices and climate action. - Active citizenship – promoting leadership, youth engagement, and European values.
