Beschrijving van de organisatie

Ungdomskulturhuset - UKH is a public and cultural house for young people aged 15-30 y.o. and it is part of Aarhus Municipality. It was founded in 2014 and has grown to be a recognized institution for young people. UKH is a place where freedom to create activities roams and the young people can use the facilities freely in the opening hours. We have multiple youth organisations that organise various activities for and with each other, and small communities of interest groups. On an average basis we have between 4-500 unique young people through the house within the week. The last development was our neighboring buildings to become a part of the operations of UKH. Here we have Kulturkapellet Aarhus, an organisation for performing arts and theatre, and Teknisk Afdeling, a building for movement and urban sports. The core values are community, inclusion and creation. UKH is a platform for young people's dreams, passions, common interests and a community for support, curiousity and personal development through cultural activities.
