CoLibre Foundation operates the only Democratic Free School in Podkarpackie Province, southeastern Poland. We serve children aged 6-12, including neuroatypical learners, providing alternative education based on freedom, self-directed learning, and community participation. Our goals: - Deliver child-centered education respecting individual learning paths - Build an inclusive community where children, parents, and educators co-create the learning environment - Promote global citizenship, intercultural understanding, and ecological awareness - Support families through psychological guidance and parenting education Main activities: - Democratic school with student-led decision-making processes - Outdoor education and nature-based learning - Global Education projects - Woodworking, culinary, and arts workshops - Open community events: educational games, cultural celebrations - Parent support programs - International exchanges with democratic schools across Europe Target groups: - Children (6-12) seeking alternative education pathways - Families interested in democratic, relationship-based education - Young people exploring non-formal education and active citizenship - Local community engaging in open educational events
