Opis organizacije

LIZA-R is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation and Category B Social Enterprise based in Gjilan, Kosovo, established in 2007 with the support of international partners, including the OSCE. Initially created through youth civic engagement and youth policy initiatives, LIZA-R has developed into an active civil society organisation working in youth empowerment, social inclusion, community development, and social entrepreneurship. Operating at local and national level, LIZA-R works with staff, trainers, mentors, and volunteers to support young people, women, students, vulnerable groups, and individuals with fewer opportunities in their personal, social, and professional development. Our mission is to promote active citizenship, solidarity, employability, democratic participation, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable development. The organisation provides non-formal education, vocational training, mentoring, and practical learning opportunities in digital skills, IT, entrepreneurship, graphic design, tailoring, employability, and career orientation. As a social enterprise, LIZA-R combines social impact with practical initiatives in textile redesign, tourism, environmental awareness, and community activities, creating real-life learning opportunities for young people. Through international cooperation, volunteering, and partnerships across Europe,LIZA-R provides inclusive spaces for learning and active participation, supporting solidarity, inclusion, and civic engagement.
