Youth for Civil Society, Sport and Tourism is a non-profit youth organisation based in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Our mission is to empower young people to become active, responsible citizens through non-formal education, civic participation, and community-based initiatives. We work primarily with youth from rural areas and communities with fewer opportunities, including NEETs and first-time volunteers, aiming to foster inclusion, leadership, and solidarity. Our activities focus on sustainable development, active citizenship, and youth well-being. We combine outdoor learning, environmental education, digital storytelling, and volunteering to help young people develop practical skills and a strong sense of purpose. Projects like “Pathways to Sustainability” have engaged youth in ecological action through hikes, workshops, and community cleanups—linking personal growth with collective impact. We apply for the Quality Label to expand our ability to host and support young volunteers through the European Solidarity Corps. This step aligns with our commitment to creating meaningful, accessible, and high-quality learning experiences. It will strengthen our network, reinforce our values, and help us contribute to a more connected, resilient, and inclusive Europe—where solidarity is not just an ideal, but a lived practice.
