A szervezet leírása

AGORA' - Scuola di Dialogo Socratico e Cittadinanza Attiva is a non-profit cultural and social promotion association based in Motta Sant’Anastasia, Sicily. The organisation promotes Socratic dialogue, non-formal education, active citizenship, critical thinking, community participation and access to culture and knowledge. Agorà creates open and democratic spaces where young people and citizens can meet, discuss social issues, develop their own ideas and take part in cultural and civic life. Its activities include dialogue workshops, cultural meetings, educational events, community discussions, media and civic literacy activities, and initiatives aimed at strengthening participation, inclusion and democratic awareness. The main target groups are young people, young adults, local citizens, people living in rural or peripheral areas, and young people with fewer opportunities who have limited access to European, cultural and civic participation opportunities. Through the European Solidarity Corps, Agorà aims to host and support young volunteers who want to contribute to local community life while developing personal, social, intercultural and civic competences.
