A szervezet leírása

The Mi-Chaussée elementary school is located in the town of Briançon, in the heart of the Serre-Chevalier resort and close to the Italian border. The school has 6 classes, including a ULIS (Unité Localisé pour l'Inclusion Scolaire, an inclusive class). The school has around 110 pupils (aged 6 to 10) and 8 teachers, including one Italian-speaking teacher. Since September 2024, pupils at our school have been learning Italian and English from CP class onwards. Italian is also used to teach non-linguistic subjects such as science, art and mathematics. We would like to call on an Italian-speaking volunteer to support and help the teaching team develop the teaching of Italian at the Mi-Chaussée school. The volunteer will be housed within the school, in an apartment belonging to the commune of Briançon. The volunteer's tasks: - Attend and participate in Italian an non-linguistic lessons given by the teachers; - Assist the teaching team in preparing Italian and non-linguistic subject lessons. - Participate in school life (supervising students, attending meetings, helping to organize events, etc.); - Participate in school outings organized during the year (sports and cultural outings .... ). - Promote multiculturalism by learning a foreign language, respect of the nature and other human beings Volunteer profile : - Italian nationality or Italian-speaking (bilingual) ; - Good contact with children; - Serious and motivated by the subject of teaching;
