fair EVS play - EVS project in Krakow, Poland (1.12.2017-15.08.2018)

Popis projektu

The voluntary service „fair EVS play” project will take place in Cracow. Activities of volunteers will last for 10 months –from November 2017 until August 2018. In this project we will collaborate with our stable partners (host organisations): 1) Special Educational School No. 11 in Krakow (work with kids and youngsters with disabilities, assisting teachers and therapists during and after classes) 2) Kindergarten No 92 (working with small kids in local kindergarden, assisiting teachers during workshops, classes, games) Check our FB www.facebook.com/InternationalerBundPolska and our blog www.ib-polska/youth // Any questions? Ubytování, stravování, doprava

Volunteer will receive food allowance & pocket money, will be accommodated in shared room (with access to kitchen and bathroom) with other EVS volunteers from our projects in Krakow. Volunteer will get monthly ticket for trams and buses in Krakow (including the workplace to the residence, the whole city, night buses). Travel costs from/to home countries will be reimburse to the limit (limits are presented in "project sheet" below).

Školení během projektu

1) On-arrival training in Warsaw - Polish National Agency (6 days) 2) Mid-term training in Torun - Polish National Agency (5 days) 3) Polish language course provided by Coordinating organisation. Course will be held by professional Polish as a foreign language teacher. Duration of the course depends on the length of the project. As a coordinating organization, we will provide other opportunities to practice Polish (tandem meetings etc.). 4) Additional workshops and meetings (individual and in group)

Profil dobrovolníka

Experience in work with children and youth will be an additional asset, however it is not compulsory. Good communicational skills are also and additional asset because the project is based on communication with other people. All creative skills - artistic or motor skills – can enrich the project. The same relates to computer skills. Volunteers should be open-minded and sensitive towards needs of others. Due to the nature of the target group and special focus on work with children/young adults with disabilities, volunteer should not be afraid of disabled people and their reactions
