Opis projektu

Nocrich Scout Centre is running a European Voluntary Service project in 2019. If volunteering, scouting, learning and travelling are things you want to check on your bucket list this year, then this opportunity might be for you. We are looking for 5 volunteers aged 18 to 30 years old from Germany, France, Portugal, Spain or Austria, who have a good understanding of the English language and express willingness to learn the basics of Romanian. If you feel up for living in a multicultural environment where you will be able to improve your communication, coordination and teamwork skills by planning, adapting and practising non-formal activities with the locals, then you are exactly the type of person we are looking for! We like motivation and excitement towards trying new things and appreciate the creativity. Come to see with your own eyes what Transylvania has to offer. Ubytovanie, strava a doprava

Accommodation formalities will be pre-arranged, we have a historical house for you at 200m away from the scout centre, in the middle of the village. The house has 1 kitchen and 3 dormitories, bathroom and a huge yard. Also, there is internet connection in the house. All of the living and food costs will be completely covered by us as the host organization and you will also receive a monthly allowance of 60 euros/month. For the extra season months you will get food money of 140 euro/ month and you will have to buy and cook your own food.

Odborná príprava počas projektu

Team building offered by the host organisation. Training on developing educational activities offered by the host organisation. Romanian language lessons offered by the host organisation. Pre-departure training offered by the sending organisation. On Arrival Training and Mid Term Meeting offered by the Romanian Erasmus+ National Agency.

Profil dobrovoľníka

Profile of the volunteer: - Aged 18-30 years old; - Basic English language knowledge and desire to learn a new language (Romanian); Background of the volunteer: ● He/she is interested in living and working in an multicultural environment; ● He/she would like to get or improve teamwork abilities; ● He/she is willing to live in a rural community; ● He/she wants to get to know or put in practice non-formal education methods while working with children and young people. ● motivated to acquire and improve social and coordinating skills such as planning and carrying out activities.
