European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps in Greece is an EU-level Programme that offers opportunities for young people aged 18-30 to engage in volunteering activities and to develop their own solidarity projects across Europe. It supports both individuals seeking to volunteer and organisations wishing to host or coordinate youth solidarity initiatives, aiming to foster community benefits, active citizenship and solidarity.

Hellenic Red Cross

The Hellenic Red Cross is the largest humanitarian organisation in Greece and a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Its mission is to protect human life, alleviate human suffering, and promote solidarity. Its main activities include health and social welfare services, first aid training, volunteer programmes, and emergency response initiatives both in Greece and internationally.

Elix

ELIX has implemented numerous volunteer activities in various regions of Greece, aimed at protecting the environment , preserving cultural heritage , promoting non-formal education and strengthening social cohesion , while at the same time supporting the sending of thousands of volunteers from Greece to volunteer work programs abroad.

Wheeling2help

Wheeling2help is an organisation that carries out actions to empower young people in and outside Greece. Their goal is a world made up of active citizens with an awakened conscience, strong social interest, environmental responsibility and moral values ​​such as solidarity, justice and freedom.

Jesuit Refugee Service

Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Hellas JRS Hellas is the Greek branch of the Jesuit Refugee Service, supporting refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable displaced people in Athens. Its work focuses on social inclusion and dignity through education, community activities and targeted support. The organisation operates community hubs offering language classes, skills workshops, child-friendly learning spaces and essential services for women and families. JRS Hellas also provides basic necessities to vulnerable households and engages in advocacy to improve the protection and integration of displaced people in Greece.
