European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps has existed as an EU-funded programme since October 2018, based on solidarity activities, with the aim of offering a unique gateway for organisations and young people who want to contribute to society in the areas that matter most to them. The European Solidarity Corps involves organisations and young people in projects promoting inclusion and diversity and equal access to opportunities, protecting, conserving and enhancing natural habitats and the environment, as well as environmental sustainability, contributing to the transition and digital literacy in order to engage and empower young people to be active in society and become real agents of change.

Youth Volunteering for Nature and Forests

The "Youth Volunteering for Nature and Forests" programme promotes practices in the field of protecting nature, forests and their ecosystems, by raising awareness among the general public and preserving against forest fires and other disasters with an environmental impact, monitoring and recovering affected areas.

International Work Camps

International Work Camps (IWCs) aim to promote voluntary activities of a community, civil or social nature, carried out by a group of young people of various nationalities. They foster the development of a local community through collective tasks and enable young people to learn culture, languages and intercultural interaction.

National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth/Sport and European Solidarity Corps

The National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth/Sport and European Solidarity Corps is the mission structure that aims to ensure the management of the Erasmus+ Programme in Portugal in the fields of youth and sport. It is also the Agency responsible for implementing and managing the European Solidarity Corps Programme in Portugal. It is therefore its mission to maximise the impact of the European Solidarity Corps, making a decisive contribution to reducing social inequalities, promoting interculturalism and non-formal education, community development and participation in the democratic construction of Europe.

Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth

The Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth, I.P. (IPDJ)'s mission is to implement an integrated and decentralised policy for the areas of sport and youth, intervening in the definition, implementation and evaluation of public sports policy. Likewise, the IPDJ aims to boost support for associations, volunteering and the promotion of citizenship, leisure activities, non-formal education, information and the geographical mobility of young people in Portugal and abroad.

National Federation of Youth Associations

The National Federation of Youth Associations (FNAJ) represents local and regional youth associations towards public and political authorities, promotes structured dialogue and the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities in society. FNAJ has a decisive political representation, defending and promoting the interests of youth associations through critical and active participation.

National Youth Council

The National Youth Council (CNJ), created in 1985, is the representative platform for youth organisations nationwide, covering the most diverse expressions of youth associations (cultural, environmental, scouting, party, student, trade union and confessional).

Eurodesk Portuguese Network

The Eurodesk network provides information services for young people and those who work with them on opportunities in the fields of education, training and youth in Europe, and on the involvement of young people in European national activities.
