The center "Les Ateliers" is located in a renovated factory of 4000m² in Castres, in the south of Tarn, 70 km from Toulouse. It combines offices, co-working space, shops, restaurant, upcycling / recycling workshop organizes events. This gathering of structures within this same site reinforces their visibility. We also host various workshops: yoga, tap dancing, meditation, etc ... We propose a cultural offer some thursdays and fridays: concerts, shows, slam sessions, citizen coffee, . - Work in the market-recycling fl ow: renovation and creation of furniture from recycled elements. Work with various materials: wood, metal, fabrics, etc ... - Participation in the bike workshop - Participation in cultural evenings: communication on the events, bar service and indoor. Learning opportunities: organizational, self-confidence, teamwork - Possibility to develop a personal project within a framework defined by the committee
Logi, mat och transporter
Public transport in the city of Castres is free, moreover we can put a bike available to the volunteer. We have a flat shared with volunteers from another organnisation in the city center . For food we have planned to invite the volunteer to eat at our restaurant. structure, we will give him/her a budget for breakfasts and weekends.
Utbildning under verksamheten
At the start in the CES we have planned to participate in tutoring training. -For the integration into the team and the life of the pole: participation of the volunteer in the team meeting monthly + a meeting every 15 days between the volunteer and his tutors (then more spaces) - creation of a book / agenda co-built with volunteers.
Trainings about kitchen, and about use of machinerie in recyclerie.
Deltagarens profil
We have no prerequisites for the volunteers who will be welcomed, if not the motivation for the project and an understanding of the diversity of the proposed activities. We will promote as far as possible a woman / man pair, parity. We have no age or age criteria skills and experience. In order to facilitate a transparent and open selection, we will propose a questionnaire about their motivations and expectations and will carry out recruitment based on the answers to that survey.
