Welcome to apply for a place at Rapatac! Our organization has two Activitycenters for children and young people, one in the city of Gävle and one in the city of Sandviken. We welcome children and young people between 6-19 years, and offer activities in a big variety of areas. Some examples are school support and reading, technology, music, art and physical activity. As a volunteer at Rapatac, you become a role model in the young people's everyday lives, and get to be part of leading activities for the target group in topics that you hold close to your heart - or maybe something completely new that you are curious about? Rapatac is searching for long-terms volunteers of 12 months.
Logi, mat och transporter
As a volunteer at Rapatac, you live in an apartment in the locations city (Gävle or Sandviken). You share accommodation with the other volunteers, but have your own separate room with storage options. The volunteers have bicycles or buscard available to get to the Activitycenters. Pocketmoney together with money for food costs is paid to the volunteer once a month. Working hours are mainly in the afternoon and the afternoon and evening, monday-friday.
Utbildning under verksamheten
Trainings in the project takes place together with the National Agency in Stockholm, twice a year. Onarrival-training and Midterm Training.

As a volunteer, you carry out activities for children and young people in chosen area of activity, and you enjoy being able to support children and young people in their everyday life and personal development. You are a positive person who likes to help and is curious to meet new people and learn new things. You want to be part of an organization that works with social challenges, and is interested in how to support a society and its individuals. Rapatac Activitycenters is a tobacco-free environment. That is good to know before you apply.
