Join us in Karviná as a volunteer at ONLINE, a center dedicated to supporting excluded young people aged 14 to 22 with personal challenges and substance abusers aged 6 to 20. We engage with youth who often spend time on the streets, aiming to reduce social risks and provide a safe space for those in difficult life situations. STREETWORK GABRIEL focuses on locating substance abusers in their environments to offer support and mitigate risks associated with drug use, while also protecting the public by safely disposing of drug-related materials. As a volunteer, you will be a vital team member, spending afternoons with children through activities like board games, table football, PC games, arts and crafts, tutoring, and practicing reading and writing. Having knowledge of photo or video editing will be advantageous. To make your contributions as effective as possible, it’s important to be proactive and willing to learn the Czech language. Additionally, effective communication, respect, and sincerity are essential qualities. If you have a passion for any sports, that will also be beneficial.
