Beskrivelse
We are looking for an EVS volunteer from BULGARIA who will provide support to the team at the International Secretariat of SCI as well as SCI branches and partners in the field of PR and communication. The EVS volunteer will contribute to the organisation of communication activities aimed at increased visibility of volunteering, voluntary projects and volunteers in general, and with a special emphasis on the ‘Building Bridges Campaign’.

A 12 months volunteer contract with SCI International Secretariat • A personal mentor who will support you in your work and with practicalities and advice to get settled in Belgium • Your own bike to explore the beautiful city of Antwerp • A furnished room in an apartment with shared facilities (kitchen, bathroom) • A monthly volunteer allowance • Travel reimbursement for your travel between Antwerp and your place of residence at the beginning and at the end of your service • EVS insurance •The possibility to acquire a Youthpass certificate at the end of your service
Oplæring under aktiviteten
The volunteer will participate in the EVS Training Cycle - receiving preparation by the sending organization, on-arrival and mid-term trainings in Belgium and invitation for the Annual meeting of EVS volunteers once back from the project.
Deltagerens profil
Who are we looking for? A candidate aged between 18 -30 who has: • An interest in the topics of human rights, solidarity, refugees, volunteering and who is eager to contribute to SCI´s mission of promoting a culture of peace • Interest in PR and communication in an international NGO • Passion and knowledge in using social media tools • Good graphic design skills in software such as Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator • Good English language skills (spoken and written) • And interest to work in a busy, international office and is ready to multitask
