ON&OFF is a non-profit organisation that fosters rural development, sustainability, arts, and social inclusion through the power of theatre. Our initiatives blend learning and training opportunities within theatre, enriching people's lives while cultivating a sense of community. Join us in the village of Camprovín (La Rioja) for a 10-month journey: We're looking for 3 volunteers to dive into a mix of behind-the-scenes admin tasks (handling social media, content creation, assisting with Erasmus+ project management, etc.) and get hands-on with our theatre groups, events, and activities. Picture yourself helping in theatre groups for people with disabilities, getting creative with props and scenery, and leading workshops. You will also collaborate with the Town Hall in organising intergenerational cultural and leisure activities for Camprovinarte, a street art festival. Join us to shape the cultural landscape in La Rioja while promoting creativity, inclusivity, and change.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
You will work and live in Camprovín, a beautiful village with 182 inhabitants in La Rioja. It is a magical place with a strong local community, stunning landscapes and tons of possibilities for outdoor activities. But life here is also very remote: there are no regular shops, but different mobile vendors come a few times a week. There is an on-demand bus and a carpooling group. Our volunteers will live in a shared apartment with a fully equipped kitchen/common area, individual rooms, and a (super nice) rooftop terrace. We offer monthly pocket and food money for each volunteer.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Our volunteers will have support to create and develop their projects and orientation sessions and training to perform the tasks related to this volunteering experience. Also, our volunteers will participate in two training courses (on arrival and at mid-term) organised by the Spanish National Agency. ON&OFF also offers the possibility to have Spanish classes.
Profil udeleženca
We are looking for an open-minded person interested in theatre, who ideally already has experience in some field of arts and brings digital skills such as recording, editing photos and videos, graphic design for poster creation… As one of our missions is to bring life to rural areas, we need you to support us and embrace rural living with all its ups and downsides! Our volunteers shall embrace equality and respect for diversity in all forms. Spanish is not compulsory, but we seek someone motivated to learn the language, as many of our activities are in Spanish.
