It is owned and managed by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation (Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto). The label works as a tool to speed up the energy transition and is being used in over 80 countries. All our activities focus on the promotion of renewable energy. We now have 2 vacancies for Ukrainian ESC volunteers, We are looking for young persons interested in marketing, outreach, and administration. The project activities include contacting energy consumers and general support of EKOenergy work. This requires the ability to concentrate and execute given tasks very precisely and carefully. Check out our social media. All activities happen from our Secretariat in Helsinki. In total, our Secretariat hosts 8 ESC volunteers. Start: August 2024, and preferably for 12 months.

Logi, mat och transporter

- Accommodation: volunteers get a private room in a shared apartment 
 All 8 volunteers live in the same street, meaning that they can easily support each other when needed. - Volunteers get a monthly allowance to buy food + a bus ticket for transportation within Helsinki, - European Solidarity Corps pocket money. - European Solidarity Corps health insurance 
 - Travel: we reimburse the travel from Ukraine to Finland + return

Utbildning under verksamheten

- Pre-arrival training by the sending organisation 
 - On-arrival training organised by Opetushallitus, the Finnish national Agency for Education - Information about renewable energy markets
 - Regular webinars about climate change and EU climate policy

- Interest in environment and climate protection. - Able to concentrate on administrative tasks and eagerness to execute them with precision - Social person, interested in living and working with other young volunteers. - Interested in communication (verbal and visual) - Not afraid to contact unknown persons via phone or the Internet - Eagerness to learn new things - Able to work independently and take initiative - Most of the work happens from our office and with the computer.
