CIVS COMMUNITY SERVICE

Apraksts
This project of 31 days, led by CIVS Kenya, offers volunteers a unique opportunity to contribute to community development and environmental sustainability in marginalized areas. Volunteers will engage in diverse tasks, including permaculture activities such as tree planting to enhance vegetation cover and mitigate environmental risks like soil drought and flooding. Additionally, volunteers will support agricultural initiatives aimed at improving farming practices and increasing productivity for local farmers. The project also involves capacity-building activities, such as conducting training sessions on environmental issues in schools and community venues. Volunteers can expect a dynamic daily routine involving hands-on work in the field, interaction with community members, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.Volunteers will work full-time (between 30 and 38 hours per week) and will have two days off per week.
