Culture Centre of Pomiechówek Commune propagates and creates culture for and with the inhabitants of the commune. It organizes art, handicraft, music, bodyart, yoga and theatre classes and events for inhabitants and visitors of the Commune and works with people from 1 to 100 years old. The role of the volunteer is to add intercultural dimension to GOK activities as well as bring new ideas and initiatives. The volunteer will have opportunities to interact with local community and introduce own culture. Examples of tasks: -Intercultural and language meetings/workshops in the culture center and schools, language cafe -Help during meetings of local clubs -Help at art classes such as painting, handicrafts -Preparation of decorations for events -Technical help during projects and events such as monthly theatre meetings for children, art fair Artbazar -Own initiatives, also in cooperation with the volunteer from the Library https://www.spw.ngo/pomiechowek-cultur-center-infopack

-Accommodation: 2 volunteers will live in a house shared with its owners. They will stay in a flat on the first floor whereas the owners live on the ground floor. Their part of the house has its own kitchen and bathroom. -Food: Volunteer receives 150 EUR per month and should be cooking on their own -Pocket money: 180 EUR per month -Language support: online language course (OLS) provided by the program - International travel: reimbursement up to 211 EUR, 309 EUR or 395 EUR depending on the distance* *a little extra fund possible for a "green travel"

- Orientation training (coordinating organization): introduction to the project, getting to know the cooridinators and the organization, integration with other volunteers and mentors, planning - On-arrival training (National Agency): Getting to know Poland, ESC introduction (5 days) - Mid-term evaluation meeting (National Agency, 5 days) - Final evaluation (coordinating organization) - Evaluation meetings/trainings (coordinating organization): intercultural education, learning, cultural adaptation, communication (once every two months)

Participant profile: - Interested in creative activities and culture (art, music, dance, theatre etc.) - Friendly, making relationship with people easily - Willing to work with people of different ages (from small children to seniors) - Communicative English - Independent, sociable, has own ideas and initiative and is ready to implement them - Reliable and diligent - Flexible, ready to work without fixed schedule and adapt to the event callendar (within the frame of maximum 38 hours a week)
