CES LOPE DE VEGA SCHOOL would like to inform you that we are looking for 1 motivated, responsible and passionate candidate interested in participating in a great volunteering experience the next course 2025-2026. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION The Upper Secondary and Vocational Training School “CES Lope de Vega SCA” is a semi-private school with public funding which was established in Córdoba in 1986. Exceeding 500 students and a staff of about 40 teachers, our school provides a non-compulsory official education to our students, who are older than 16 years old. Moreover, we have a Guidance Department, which works with our students with specific educational needs supporting their integration. We also have a team of people who plan and manage all kinds of international projects and extra activities for our school.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Accommodation will be in rented flats shared with other young people. Standard equipment and essential household goods will be provided. Electricity, water and gas expensives will be covered by the hosting organization. The internet connection will be the responsibility of the volunteer. Being hosted by a family of our students who will take care of their meals and stay could be another possibility. Each volunteer will be given a monthly allowance for personal needs. Every volunteer will have a chance to choose bike or bus card if needed. Long distance activities will be covered.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Volunteer will learn spanish language through the OLS (Online Linguistic Support). In addition, they will be able to perfect their level of Spanish, since they will have to collaborate with students and teachers and will be able to be present in language classes both as support for the students as a listener. Volunteers will participate in the normal working hours, with the mentor or responsible of the activity. The mentor will give all the instructions and support to make the volunteering period as much satisfactory as possible. Sending organization is responsible for the insurance

REQUIREMENTS Age: 21-25 years old Spanish level: A1-A2 (beginner) recommended English level: B2 (intermediate) French level: B2 (intermediate) ACTIVITIES AND COMPETENCES The main areas where the volunteers will be involved are: SOLIDARITY, DIGITALIZATION, MULTICULTURALITY AND MULTILINGUALISM. For each of these areas, activities will be design in which the volunteer will collaborate with students and teachers. Some of the main activities and the requirements we need from the volunteer are the following: • Design and monitoring of ecological gardens. Knowledge in this sector will be valued, as well as social skills to deal with older people. Seeds of different vegetables will be sown on cultivation tables in collaboration with an association of elderly people and with students of research subjects • Volunteers will support teachers with all the communication and social networking and the maintenance of informatics equipment. For this, the following will be valued: basic knowledge of software and hardware; creativity; digital skills such as office package especially excel; knowledge of creating and publishing content in different formats for Instagram and Facebook; canvas design; content creation and writing; photography knowledge. • Collaboration with the language department to practice speaking in class with current topics. Help to get to know countries of the european union through interesting activities and games to transmit the value of the foreign language and culture. Accompany on outings such as bilingual cinema, sightseeing tour in english, language gymkhana, For all of this, linguistic competence in english and french will be valued.
