In the volunteer programme, many hundreds of people of all ages and professions work in solidarity to implement the Capital of Culture year. You will help us to prepare and organise training events, leisure activities and get-togethers for the volunteers. You will also have the opportunity to actively participate in our flagship projects together with volunteers. Concerts, readings, exhibitions in garage courtyards, creative industries in the old power station, tree planting campaigns, sporting events or support with public relations and press work as well as the grand opening ceremony. We need your help! Our goal: Together with a wide range of stakeholders, we want to create an extraordinary programme for 2025 that provides new impetus for art and culture, participation and ideas for the future. We invite everyone to discover the hidden sides of the city and region.

Oplæring under aktiviteten
There is also a training programme as part of our volunteer programme. This is open to ESC participants. In addition to the extensive programme of the European Capital of Culture, first aid training, voice training, de-escalation training, awareness and teamwork are also offered. In addition, ESC participants will receive a clear introduction to their specific areas of responsibility and can expand their skills in co-operation with our colleagues and professional partners.
Deltagerens profil
You should be curious about many different projects mainly in the field of arts and culture with many different people. Some knowledge of communication, organisation and maybe even volunteer experience would be great. You won't always be sitting in an office. From time to time we tackle things together with many other volunteers. Som technical knowledge is helpful but not mandatory. A general interest in arts, culture, music, theatre, sports, sustainability, creativitiy or similar things would be great.
