Opis
-organization of various workshops and seminars for citizens that aim to contribute to the promotion and development of environmental awareness, sustainable community development and solidarity -organization of various environmental cleaning actions with the aim of preserving and promotion valuable natural and cultural spaces and water resources - educating and informing the public with the aim of changing values and behavior and encouraging active participation in the protection of the environment and nature - organization, implementation, development and promotion of all forms of education, including lifelong learning and adult education - organizing creative workshops for learning traditional crafts: weaving, felting, ceramics. - writing, applying for and implementing smaller local or national project proposals - protection and preservation of cultural heritage, such as the Rakovnik Tower in the Municipality of Gračac
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
We will ensure to our volunteers a safe and clean accommodation. When we make selection of volunteers, we will send photos of the accommodation to the volunteers. We will give to the volunteers an adequate allowance for the food and pocket money as indicated in EA guide. Accommodation will be provided in the apartment houses in Gračac with all the needed appliances. Volunteers will be asked to share accommodation with other volunteers, but each of them has his own room. Accommodation is approx. 1-2 min walk from working place.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Volunteers would have the opportunity to learn Croatian language to the extent in accordance with their personal interest, to improve English language skills, adopt teamwork, organizational and creativity skills. We will give them a chance to learn and adopt digital skills - use of new software and applications, web design etc., also to the extent in accordance with their personal interest. Volunteers will have an opportunity to learn how to write, apply and implement projects through the implementation of projects. They will for sure acquire knowledge of a non-profit sector in Croatia.
Profil udeleženca
We are looking for another volunteer to join our team. The volunteer would work together with our other volunteer. The volunteer needs to be creative and have self-initiative. Since we are a smaller town in Croatia, it is necessary that the person likes to stay in a smaller place that is not as busy as big cities. Volunteers should be willing to develop digital and creative skills and volunteer and help our community develop.
