Opis
We are looking for 2 volunteers ready to start their work in the Governmental Kindergarten no. 92 in Krakow in September (or a little bit later) 2024. This kindergarten is located in 2 buildings so we would like to find 2 volunteers. Volunteers tasks will be to play games with children, sing and dance together, helping to prepare tables for meals and beds for the nap, preparing presentations about volunteer's country and language workshops for students in different age groups. Working hours depends on the group, but usualy it's 8:00/9:00 in the morning until 2:00/3:00 in the afternoon. There are also trips, walks and meetings with parents included in the volunteer's tasks. Additionaly IB Polska organizes meetings and workshops connected with the project main topics, giving all volunteers the chance to develope skills and knowledge.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
Volunteers are accomodated in the flats rented by foundation IB Polska. Rooms are usually double with common bathroom and kitchen. Volunteers are getting pocket money and food allowance every month transferred to their bank accounts. Travel costs are covered by the project budget up to the distance based on the Distance Calculator. We provide monthly cards for the public transport. EU volunteers have to bring European Health Insurance Card, volunteers outside the EU are insured in Henner. We always sign contract (Voluntary Agrement) with volunteer and her/his sending organisation.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Sending organisation should provide the preparation before the start of the project and support volunteers during the whole projects. After arrival to the project IB Polska coordinators organize prep-meeting(s) for volunteers about ESC programme, common rules. A part of it is the first meeting with the coordinator from the hosting organisation. There are regular monthly meetings for the whole group of volunteers and individual meetings with each person. There are also 2 obligatory meetings provided by the Polish National AgencyL on-arrival and mid-term training.
Profil udeleženca
We are looking for participants who like to work with children. Candidates have to be open-minded, creative, friendly, patient, empathetic and attentive. Good communication skills are also important here, especially listening.
