The current ESC project seeks to recruit 4 volunteers to strengthen our core impact in two main areas: Activity One: (1) Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among youth; (2) Support social inclusion and diversity through youth initiatives; (3) Develop active citizenship skills in line with EU youth goals. This activity will involve 2 volunteers. Activity Two: (1) Enhance digital literacy and engagement among youth for democratic participation; (2) Promote virtual platforms for inclusive decision-making; (3) Empower youth with digital tools to drive positive change and address EU youth goals. This activity will also involve 2 volunteers. Both activities are open to volunteers with fewer opportunities.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
The volunteers will be accommodated in convenient apartment in the center of Sofia, giving them quick and easy access to every point of importance. The apartment has one bathroom, two separate sleeping rooms each with 2 beds, a fully equpped kitchen, and an office area with balcony, where the volunteers can work. The apartment is fully furnished. Each volunteer will receive 210 EUR per month as pocket money and they will also get 120 EUR per month for food supplies. Your travel costs from your place to Sofia will be reimbursed 100% according to Erasmus+ distance calculator.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
The volunteers will benefit from the following trainings: - Familiarizing with the aims, tasks and activities carried out by the BYF, which they will take part in. -A Bulgarian language course that will start as soon as they arrive to enable them to communicate freely during their volunteer service. - Training for work and communication in intercultural team. - Training to prevent and manage risks and conflicts. - Training for socio-cultural specifics of Bulgaria and youth work in the country.
Profil udeleženca
-Age 18-30 (30 + 364 days at the moment of the project's submission). - At least intermediate English knowledge and strong motivation to volunteering. - Good communication skills, team work in multinational and multicultural environment. - Flexibility and high responsibility to the youth work. - At least intermediate digital skills.
