Management of the volunteer house

Opis
We are looking for volunteers to manage the volunteer house and your job will be general maintenance to welcome volunteers from the different projects. You are going to be part of a group of people whose main objective will be to keep the house in good condition, suggest improvements and make sure they are carried out, as well as participate in the projects that take place in the house, among others. It is mostly manual work but also organizational. This is the best opportunity to develop your leadership skills.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
You will live at a two-floor house in Sanet y Negrals in Alicante. There is a common area, kitchen, multiple bathrooms, four bedrooms, and a roof terrace at the house. Food expenses are covered by De Amicitia. The volunteers are meant to cook their meals. Travel expenses to Sanet y Negrals will be covered up to a travel budget. During the project, the volunteers have access to vehicles for project activities and in very special ocassions to explore the area.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
The volunteers will have an opportunity to live and lead together in a group of people of different nationalities, so they can learn many interesting things from each other, cook together, raise their level of cultural tolerance and practice English and Spanish. In addition, it's a great experience to work in a team, especially in an international one. It's a project where you can show all your resolution capacity, creativity, and make some core memories! Being with the local community, the volunteers will have a chance to learn about Spanish culture.
Profil udeleženca
We are looking for volunteers who are decisive and willing to lead a group, develop her/his entrepreneurship skills, taking initiative and intercultural skills, to do manual and organizational work. You need to be flexible and empathetic and also open to get to know new people from new cultures. Driver's license and basic Spanish will be highly valued.
