WE ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THROUGH OUR FORM: https://villa-leipzig.de/european-solidarity-corps/hosting-volunteers The hosting place for the ESC volunteer is at KAOS Kulturwerkstatt ("KAOS cultural workshop") in the field of international and cultural youth work. The volunteer can be involved in different projects in the house. It is expected that he/she/they is present at the Competence Center for International Youth Work and non-formal Education for about 50 percent of the time. Depending on their skills, the focus of their work can be on public relations, organising meetings or working with young people. In addition, the volunteer can choose which other projects in the house he/she/they would like to be involved in. Volunteers can gain experience in organising international projects, in open youth work with the play mobile or in cultural youth education. We would like to determine the focus of the work together with the volunteer at the beginning of the placement year.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
You will live together with other volunteers in a shared flat, with your own single bedroom. Furthermore, you will receive food- & pocket money as well as a ticket for public transportation in Leipzig. Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
During the ESC: the volunteer receive a basic language training of some kind (not always an official course), also other training needed to carry out agreed tasks and the volunteer attend the On-Arrival training and Mid-term seminar offered by NA. In addition, there will be realised several project days towards topics of solidarity in europe / participation / social projects for all ESC volunteers.
