You will identify, coordinate, draft and submit project proposals and concept notes, follow Action Against Hunger Strategic Framework for Peru and promote harmonization of indicators and means of verification, ensuring the standard operating procedures. You will ensure timely submission of requested feedback and resubmission, and act as Focal point for internal and partner management, following up the implementation of programs with technical coordinators, collecting data, facilitating project start-up processes by organizing kick-off meetings and training on donor guidelines, and supporting the Team in ensuring compliance with donor requirements. You will conduct Due Diligence with new local partners and update current partners as appropriate and identify areas for improvement and draw lessons learned.

Accommodation, travel costs, visa, pre-deployment medical check + vaccinations (if mandatory for the country), allowance will be covered. In case of need, Fewer Opportunities measures will also be provided. A monthly Subsistence Lump Sum will be provided to cover basic needs such as food and personal hygiene items.

The Volunteer will attend online before and on-site induction at the arrival to her/his deployment Mission. Training during deployment will also be offered to improve the volunteer’s skills and competences.

You have studies (Bachelor's and/or Master's degree) in Humanitarian Action or any related field (communications, political science, law, international relations) and are fluent Spanish and English. You have an understanding of the rights approach, particularly in relation to migration and post-conflict dynamics. Knowledge of and respect for the Humanitarian Principles and experience in proposal writing, donor standards, validation procedures and process coordination, and project cycle management. You are able to write reports and donor proposals in excellent English and experience in training and capacity building. Previous work experience in related fields and volunteering is an asset. Eligibility : Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
