Opis
Comunità Progetto Sud (CPS) Association is selecting 1 new volunteer for a short-term volunteer opportunity (4 months) in the local community of Lamezia Terme (Southern Italy). CPS promotes, organizes, and develops socio-educational projects for migrants, children, young people, and adults dealing with education, training, inclusion, and health services. The volunteer is engaged in the "Scuola del Sociale" office and is responsible for developing the association's social projects, organizing adult education paths, and providing job placement opportunities. The office consists of 5 people, 4 of whom are under 30. It is a dynamic, multicultural place, open to exchange and personal growth. The volunteer also participates in all cultural and social activities that CPS promotes for all employees and volunteers and has the chance to get to know other organizations with which the association collaborates locally and internationally.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
The volunteer is involved in activities 5 days per week, with a maximum of 35 working hours. She or He lives together with another European volunteer, in a small house in Lamezia Terme, 2 km away from the nice city center. The flat is very comfortable, with all the necessary facilities, including a small garden (https://maps.app.goo.gl/FzizqCkt8Rr4o2KGA). Volunteers live in a single room and must share common spaces, such as a bathroom and kitchen. The volunteer will receive a 5€/day pocket money and a food pocket to manage and buy food. During activities, they could have lunch with employees.
Usposabljanje med dejavnostjo
Welcome training, Youthpass Training Cycle, Mid Term Evaluation, and final evaluation, run by Scuola del Sociale Department– Comunità Progetto Sud. On-Arrival Training is run by the Italian National Agency.
