You will play an active role in a youth center creating engaging opportunities for young people aged 7-26 regarding youth work, cultural activities, sports, and social inclusion. You will work with a diverse group of youth, organizing workshops, events, and recreational activities while supporting the center’s day-to-day operations. From promoting creativity to fostering connections, or assisting in a welcoming community space, your efforts will empower young people to grow personally, socially, and professionally. Through your contributions, you’ll help build vibrant, inclusive environments where youth can explore their passions, develop skills, and make lasting memories.
Logi, mad og transport
As a volunteer, you will receive a shared accommodation close to your placement, a daily food allowance of €6 to cover meals as well as a pocket money allowance of €5 per day. Your journey from Italy to Estonia will be fully reimbursed, and you will be covered with a health insurance that will protect you from any risk. You will also be provided with local transportation support if needed for work-related activities.
Oplæring under aktiviteten
Your learning journey will include an on-arrival and mid-term training program provided by the Estonian National Agency, work-related training and preparation specific to your youth center a dedicated tutor who will guide and support you throughout your experience and language lessons via the OLS platform, with the option to learn Estonian and improve your English.
Deltagerens profil
We are looking for volunteers aged 18-30 who are enthusiastic about youth work and open to engaging with young people from diverse backgrounds. You must be creative, proactive, and willing to take initiative in organizing activities and workshops. In addition, it is necessary to be open-minded, tolerant, and eager to embrace cultural exchange, as well as being comfortable communicating in English and motivated to learn Estonian. Finally, you need to be ready to work in dynamic settings, from small villages to bustling towns.
