Embark on an unforgettable journey at the 4th Annual Youth Summer Fest in Timișoara, Romania! Since 2022, this festival has united young people worldwide in an exchange of learning and culture. For 30 days, passionate volunteers bring the streets, parks, and youth centers of Timișoara and Lugoj to life with concerts, fast-paced challenges, and engaging educational workshops—all organized #ByYouForYouth. As a volunteer, you’ll get the unique chance to shape the festival with your ideas and bring them to the community. On 12 August, we kick off International Youth Day with music, art, and stories, launching a month of exciting activities. Accommodation will be provided in one of the student dorms of Timisoara. Facilities: shared bedrooms, bathrooms & kitchen. Meals will be your responsibility: you will have a kitchen to use and you’ll receive 5 EUR – food allowance/day, and of course, pocket money too, 4 EUR/day (this money you will receive in Romanian currency in cash, or by bank). Local transportation and airport transfer – we can provide pickup only if you arrive between 00.00 and 05.00, other than that you will have to use public transportation. During the project, the costs of public transportation will be covered by us.

We are meant to be if you: -are between the ages of 18 and 30; -speak English at a conversational level; -want to implement & facilitate activities; Also please mention in your motivation statement what area you would like to work on? Facilitation: prepare and deliver the events/workshops/activities & more, Media & promotion: Take photos and videos, write articles, create a magazine for the festival, create content for the online promotion, go in the city for offline promotion, Logistics: help to prepare the spaces, set up the equipment, make lists of materials needed for the festival.
