Kaprálův mlýn is a scout environmental education centre situated in the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area in Czech Republic. Volunteering with us offers a wide range of activities and opportunities - taking care of the centre and its operation as an accommodation facility. Running the shop/reception. In the summer, running and maintaining the campsite - helping with the educational programs (e.g. technical and historical tours of the mill, caving, abseiling and more..) - working on the online marketing - outdoor work activities (work on environmental projects and locations, gardening...) - education like Czech language course, workshops, trips, excursions and much more.. - your own personal project We are looking for long term volunteers for 4 - 12 months, but let us know if you have other plans and ideas - maybe we can work something out :)) For more information, please contact us at email VOLUNTEER@KAPRALUVMLYN.CZ
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Volunteers at Kaprálův mlýn live in a self-contained house for volunteers only. This two-storey house stands on a site with a beautiful view only 50 m away from the main centre building. The house offers all the possibilities of a full and comfortable life - fully equipped kitchen, living room with projector for movie nights, terrace... You can either arrange your own meals or use our excellent kitchen, which cooks typical Czech food 3 times a day almost every day of the week. You will have a permanent public transport ticket, that you can use to explore the area.
Mācības pasākuma laikā
You are expected to participate in three main ESC trainings. The first should be held by your sending organization before departure from your country. The second and the third ones are organized by Czech National Agency in Czech Republic. It is usually 4 - 6 days full of fun, where you meet a lot of new friends - foreign volunteers from other Czech workplaces.
Dalībnieka profils
We are looking for volunteers with a love of nature, outdoor activities and a positive attitude towards environmental issues. We need you to speak English (communicative level). We don't require any additional knowledge, we will teach you everything. However, if you have an idea or a hobby that you would like to contribute to the development of the education centre, all the better, but it is not an obligation.
