Beskrivelse
You will prepare events about the European Union and its different languages and cultures for young people aged 16 to 30 living in our Habitat Jeunes residences in Château-Gontier sur Mayenne. You may be required to organise activities at lunchtime for users of our restaurant and at our other residences in Senonnes, Segré and Le Lion d'Angers. As part of these activities, our association is keen to promote the environment, the digital transition, the fight against discrimination, democracy, the inclusion of people with disabilities, the concepts of commitment and citizenship, culture in the broadest sense, health and sport. In addition, you will act as an ambassador for the ESC (presenting the programme to young people) and other programmes. Each year, we organise a 4-day trip to a European capital, where you can share your experience of being a European citizen. You will work with our socio-educational team to develop these European projects. You will also work on communication tasks
Logi, mad og transport
You will receive pocket and food money at the beginning of each month. Accomodation will be in a youth dormitory called Habitat Jeunes Laval. You will be hosted in a fully equiped appartment with 1 other European volunteer. You will have your own room. You have the possibility to cook in your appartment or to eat in the canteen of Habitat Jeunes. Every evening Habitat Jeunes dormitory offers animations for the inhabitants (sport evenings, cultural evening, games etc..) Transportation from home country to Laval and return will be paid up to 309€ or 417€ depending on the distance.
Oplæring under aktiviteten
National Agency in France proposes an arrival training in South of France with other volunteers and a mid-term training. At your arrival, you will get a training with the House of Europe and 3 other volunteers to get all the necessary information to put in place animations about Europe and you will have a tutor to guide you through your project.
