We are looking for two creative, open-minded volunteers who would gladly make decorations in different social institutes. We are a volunteer center, we work with several different target groups such as elderly people, disabled people, kids from kindergartens and schools, youngsters from high schools. As our volunteer you can peer into the work with the different target groups and you can bring joy to their days and life with your creative skills. You will have several opportunities to use your artist skills in various situations with different people. We need a volunteer with an open mind and heart because we usually work with people in need or special need people. The project is not only about art – it’s also about improving your social skills, meeting people from the different target groups, learning about ourselves and each other. Communication, empathy, responsibility are very important skills in the project.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
The two volunteers will stay in a flat in a ten-storey house (with an elevator) on the 9th floor with a beautiful view to a park with a small lake. The two volunteers will sleep in separate bedrooms. Although we can provide simple circumstances, the kitchen is equipped, a washing machine and hair dryer are in the bathroom, bed linen and towels are in the flat. Volunteers will receive pocket money and monthly allowance every month; a public transport monthly ticket. Travel costs are covered under a limit defined by the European Solidarity Corps, and you will receive free HENNER health insurance

Our ideal volunteer is proactive, enthusiastic, full of ideas, open for new experiences with people from another culture. We’ll appreciate your motivation for working in a team and independently as well. A high level of English is required.
